e. How to compute the maximum quantity of a single-SKU cargo that fits in a container
With only one cargo spec, compute the maximum that fits in a given container (container, pallet, box, etc.).
Example: how many cartons of cargo A (44.5×32×26 cm) fit in 20GP, 40GP and 40HQ? Cartons may be placed opening-side up only.
Choose Container loading / Single-SKU.

Basic Information is optional.
Step 1: Cargo → Add cargo → Add directly. Set name, dimensions and placement. Allow only stand and stand horizontal rotation.

Step 2: Container → Add from database → 20GP, 40GP, 40HC. Corner castings 10×10×10 cm and reserved sizes.

Step 3: Loading rules — keep defaults.
Click Auto-optimize. Results: 20GP holds 835 cartons, 40GP holds 1718, 40HC holds 1909.

Click the playback button (top-left of the view): cargo is loaded left-to-right, which is not realistic. To match real operations, set the maximum loading-segment length.

Open Loading rules, check Limit loading-segment length and set the maximum value. This parameter does not affect the loading result, only the loading steps.

This option limits each loading step's length so it does not exceed the configured value — useful when a forklift cannot load 10 m of cargo in one go.

This case uses the default 2 m. Auto-calculate again — the first container's loading steps now go from the back of the container toward the door, which is realistic.
